1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of “The Thief’s Trail” (the “Service”), an outdoor detective game with GPS elements and 360° panoramas. By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Service only if you have the legal capacity to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. If you are under the age required to consent to data processing in your country, you must have your parent or legal guardian’s permission.

3. Access Codes & Free Early Access

• During the current test/early access phase, access codes are provided free of charge in exchange for short feedback after your adventure.
• Codes are delivered via email and, once activated, remain valid for the timeframe stated on the site (e.g., 6 hours).
• We may limit the number of codes or discontinue free access at any time.

4. User Responsibilities

• Use the Service responsibly and comply with local laws and regulations while exploring public spaces.
• Respect private property and public safety; remain aware of your surroundings at all times.
• Do not share or resell access codes without permission.

5. Prohibited Conduct

• Reverse engineering, scraping, interfering with or disrupting the Service.
• Using the Service for unlawful purposes or in a manner that infringes others’ rights.
• Uploading or transmitting malicious code or engaging in fraudulent activity.

6. Intellectual Property

All content of the Service (including text, visuals, 360° panoramas, puzzles, trademarks, and logos) is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

7. Availability & Changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, including during the free early access phase. We may also update these Terms; the latest version will apply as of its effective date.

8. Warranties & Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Service, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

9. Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria, without regard to conflict of law principles. Courts located in Austria shall have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection rules grant you additional rights in your country of residence.
